High Blood Pressure Natural Remedies -Versus Drugs
With today’s lifestyle, and a high percentage of overweight and overworked people in our society, blood pressure has become a wide spread problem that could be combated without taking mass quantities of Toprol and Lasix.
The first avenue to combat high blood pressure is to allot a specific time of day just for you, even if its five minutes to juice a snack for your morning breakfast, that is a good start. There are several natural high blood pressure cures you will find listed below.
Remember to never just stop taking your prescribed medicine and ask your doctor if any of these things will interact with what you're taking.
Hawthorn Berry Juice: Blood Pressure Issues
The hawthorn berry has flavinoids, and the juice can actually dilate blood vessels, which in turn can control both low and high blood pressure. Through a friends experience when they began taking the hawthorn berry juice and his blood pressure was controlled, the doctor argued this was not the medical way to control blood pressure, even with a monthly journal showing steady controlled readings.
The doctor insisted in him taking Toprol along with it, probably just pacifying his report of the hawthorn berry working and not believing it did.
The best cures can be found by going to a health food store with a very knowledgeable staff, because I have found many cures in my experience just speaking to the owner of my local health food store.
Other options for high blood pressure are garlic. There have been studies showing that eating garlic has many medicinal cures, from high blood pressure to even curing bacterial infections.
A healthy supplement of garlic in your diet is harmless, but taking the powdered form can interact with other things, even natural supplements, so do be careful and eat it in its natural form. It has been known to interact with Vitamin E and gingko along with warfarin, pentoxifylline, and aspirin. Garlic can be a delicious additive to your food and benefit your health.
If you have a bout of diverticulitis the naturalist doctor might prescribe toast with olive oil and mashed garlic on it, and a glass of pineapple juice, the benefit from that versus the drug Cipro is amazing. So we don’t always have to reach for medical drugs first, and if skeptical remember to try and add the natural cures as an additional plus to your good health.
Kidney Stones & Gout: Natural Remedies
Uric acid found in meats, spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, MSG, and artificial sweeteners have triggered bouts of both gout and kidney stones in people. Avoiding those mentioned, and adding to your diet, cherries or cherry juice extract, can lower uric acid levels in your blood, again taking the place of medicines prescribed for this condition.
Drinking one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water is another alternative in lowering uric acid. Organic apple cider vinegar with the mother in it, along with honey is another alkaline additive which helps lower uric acid.
The spice turmeric has many health benefits and a wonderful spice to add to your dishes when cooking. Watch for my future articles listing the many advantages of turmeric being added to your diet, and its widespread use for many ailments. In fact it was first used as an antiseptic for cuts and burns.
If you have recurrent bouts of gallstones or any bile constrictions turmeric may not be advised to use.
Don't stop taking any prescribed medicine without asking your doctor, most of these natural cures may be added to your diet with your doctor's OK.

The food can be also a "medicine". In fact with a healthy diet we can prevent some diseases, and some situations that bring to some diseases ( such as overweight ). But with a healthy diet we can also treat some disorders and avoid in this way to take medications.
The check of doctor, the check of our blood tests, of our blood pressure or of instrumental tests is particularly important to understand if we really can leave medications or not.
